PKFARE 2022 revenue surpasses pre-pandemic level and business grew faster in Q1 2023

Today, PKFARE's parent company, Shenzhen Marco Polo Technology Co., Ltd., announced that its revenue in 2022 surpassed pre-pandemic level, with gross profits of tens of million Yuan. Nevertheless, the company achieved stronger growth in the first quarter of 2023.

PKFARE showed strong resilience, flexibility, and innovation during the pandemic. Despite the huge impact of the pandemic on international travel, PKFARE turned to exploring domestic travel market and developed a more diversified business portfolio. As a result, its revenue in 2022 grew five times year-on-year, surpassing its full-year performance in 2019. Besides, in the market downturn PKFARE put efforts to consolidate its foundation - upgrading products and solutions, optimizing service capabilities, so as to gear up for the future. In response to the pandemic, PKFARE demonstrated its ability to provide quick and responsive after-sales service. By co-working closely with global customers and partners, the company completed the refund of air tickets worth more than one billion Yuan. During the pandemic, PKFARE also helped 100+ domestic tourism companies obtained overseas business, creating over 1,000 jobs indirectly, facilitating the recovery of the tourism industry.


In the first quarter of 2023, the financial performance of PKFARE's parent company was impressive, with both revenue and profit achieving strong growth. This is attributed to the company's global business expansion resumed at the end of last year when COVID-19 policy in China was fully lifted. PKFARE launched the "New Era of Global Partners" plan, restarted meeting with global customers and partners, and accelerated the global network deployment. So far, PKFARE has met with over 100 global customers and partners across Asia, Europe, America, and the Middle East, and has had in-depth communication about the post-pandemic market trends. It has also successfully signed contracts with dozens of global customers and partners and kicked off cooperation.


For travelers’ new demands post-pandemic, the upgrade of the tourism industry has become inevitable. PKFARE observed many OTAs have begun to invest in building agile and flexible service systems.
